Ophthalmologist Dr. Beers established the Mountain View practice Peninsula Laser Eye Medical Group. Serving the Silicon Valley and Bay Area, Dr. Beers' practice has grown steadily, due in part to a stellar reputation among his clients. Recently, Dr. Beers was named one of the area's leading ophthalmologists by San Jose Magazine.

Dr. Beers founded Peninsula Laser Eye Medical Group in order to lead the technological curve by performing Lasik procedures, Restor lens implants, and cataract surgery while also utilizing the very latest in IntraLase and VISX technologies. Dr. Beers is one of a few ophthalmologists in Central California trained in the use of Visian Implantable Collomer Lenses for patients who do not qualify for other vision correction procedures. Thus, Dr. Beers' practice offers treatments suitable for any patient's need, regardless of medical history or preexisting conditions.

Since his early postgraduate career, Dr. Beers has refined his skill in the most innovative and precise forms of laser eye correction available. While acquiring his advanced ophthalmology training at Oregon Health Sciences, Dr. Beers participated in early FDA laser studies that provided him with a solid foundation for the treatments he currently provides.

Apart from his private practice, Dr. Beers is also an adjunct faculty member at Stanford University and Chief of Ophthalmology at El Camino Hospital. In these roles, Dr. Beers teaches students the science and medicine of ophthalmology. Highly regarded by his peers, he recently delivered a lecture to other physicians in his field titled "Recent Advances in Intraocular Lens Technology." An experienced and talented physician, Dr. Beers participates in the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

Currently, Dr. Beers resides in the Los Altos area with his wife and children, where he enjoys spending his free time engaged in a variety of family activities. A sports enthusiast, Dr. Beers also likes to spend his spare time on the golf course or playing basketball.
